Future Faces has unveiled the members of its 2019/2020 committee, which includes Town Hall Symphony Hall Development Officer Chris Smith.
Future Faces is the Greater Birmingham Chamber’s network for young professionals and the leaders of tomorrow. Aiming to develop and recognise young professionals from any sector across Greater Birmingham, their members are from a vast range of sectors, making it network uniquely diverse and strong.
Chris will be joined by four new committee members: Jaccy Gascoyne (Deutsche Bank), Helen Rawnsley (Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust), Thomas Dockerill (Highways England) and Oli Hills (Updates Media).
As a Development Officer for Campaigns at Town Hall Symphony Hall Chris looks after key fundraising campaigns, such as Name a Seat, and is also responsible for increasing THSH’s advertising reach. His role is important in establishing key relationships with businesses from multiple sectors, which is vital for the organisation and its aims. Chris is also responsible for looking after applications to grant-making trusts, in support of THSH’s Learning and Participation programmes in and around Birmingham.
Upon his appointment Chris said;
“I am absolutely delighted to have been elected on to the Future Faces Committee this year! Future Faces offers invaluable development and networking sessions for young professionals, and to join the committee at such an exciting time for Birmingham is a huge opportunity – I can’t wait to get started!”
Town Hall Symphony Hall’s Assistant Head of Development, Sally Pennington said;
