This February, The Priory Rooms Meeting and Conference Centre will be fundraising for John Taylor Hospice’s “Sponsor the Night” campaign; to help increase the level of support and care the Hospice at Home care team can offer patients and families during the night.
Based in Erdington, Birmingham, John Taylor Hospice is a social enterprise which provides 24/7 “Taylormade” care to people either at home or in the hospice. Designed to suit individual needs, the Hospice staff and volunteers are working hard to ensure ‘every moment matters’ for people they care for, their families and their carers. Each day more than 600 people across Birmingham and their families receive the care they need from John Taylor Hospice. It costs £13,500 to run all of its services every day. The Priory Rooms are delighted to help fundraise for a fellow social enterprise delivering such important care to the local community.
For a week, commencing Monday 10th February, an exhibition stand promoting John Taylor Hospice’s “Sponsor the Night” campaign will be displayed in The Priory Rooms Atrium. The exhibition stand will offer guests at The Priory Rooms an opportunity to learn more about the Hospice and kindly donate to the worthy cause.
Donations to the “Sponsor the Night” campaign will help John Taylor’s Hospice at Home team deliver bedside care, pain control, security and specialist help. By being there for up to ten hours through the night, the Hospice at Home team also helps families to find peace of mind and reassurance. Everyone benefits from a good night’s sleep and just a £15 donation could give one hour of specialist palliative care for ten hours throughout the night.
