To celebrate the release of the The LEGO Movie on 14th February 2014, The Giant Screen will be holding free fun activities on Monday 17th February.  This includes:

  • A PlayStation 3 gaming zone where people will have the opportunity to play on the new The LEGO Movie game.

The two, hour long Lego building workshops are at 10.45am and 1.15pm on 17th February.  Each are free to participate in but due to availability booking is recommended.  There are ten places and a group with a maximum of four can book into an individual place.

For people who can’t wait to see The LEGO Movie, The Giant Screen is showing previews on 8th and 9th February, with the general release being the 14th February.  The film will be shown in 3D on The Giant Screen’s duel projection on the largest cinema screen in the Midlands.

An ordinary LEGO minifigure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil LEGO tyrant from gluing the universe together.

The Giant Screen is located inside of Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham B4 7XG.  This is a short walk away from the City Centre and is in close proximity to major bus and train routes, including just a few minutes from Moor Street Station.
