Bournville College recognised for the best marketing campaign


Bournville College has won a Silver award for the Best Strategic Campaign, as part of the prestigious Heist Awards. It was the only college in the Midlands to win an award, with over 150 shortlisted entries across fifteen different categories.

 

Heist awards have evolved over the last 22 years to become the premier Awards programme for marketing in the sector. Bournville College was one of thirteen shortlisted entries for the category of Best Strategic / Corporate campaign.

 

The marketing campaign entitled ‘It’s amazing’, which focused around the College’s move to its new campus in September 2011, impressed the judges because of its clear focus and link to strategic objectives. The campaign, which span two years, encompassed different target audiences whilst delivering a consistent message over a long time period.

 

‘We are absolutely delighted with this award, as it’s the first time we have entered Heist Awards.

The Marketing team have worked very hard over the two year period to deliver this campaign and I’m pleased that our work has been recognised nationally across the education sector.’ Alma Aganovic, Assistant Principal – Marketing and Business Planning, commented.

 

This award is the latest in Bournville College’s accolade of awards in Marketing, including a LERN award for the best Marketing Campaign and Highly Commended Internal Communication Strategy by the College Marketing Network.
