Birmingham creative agency celebrates JQ move with award win

Be Inspired Films won the Production Company of the Year (Under 40 Staff) award at the Recommended Agency Awards (RAR), beating competition from across the UK. This is its fourth RAR Awards trophy to date.

Unlike other communications awards programmes, the nominees of the RAR Awards are judged not by a panel but by the brands' real clients. Be Inspired Films was rated by 70 of its clients across 19 tough and wide-ranging categories – including innovation, strategy, delivery on time and on a budget, animation and production – and scored an exceptional overall rating of 96%.

Be Inspired Films is a specialist agency in the charity, social enterprise and CSR field, creating powerful visual storytelling to engage stakeholders, support fundraising and inspire change on a local and global level. It produces short films and animation, facilitates live streaming of events and delivers video production training to charities and businesses so they can create their own video content.

This February the agency moved to a new creative workspace at the former Assay Office on Newhall Street in the Jewellery Quarter and expanded its team. The majority of their work has previously been London-centric, but this move signifies a concrete commitment to developing more work in Birmingham. Recent clients include Birmingham Children's Hospital, Aston University and Digbeth-based addiction recovery charity Changes UK.

Be Inspired Films founder Ravinol Chambers comments: "It's a very exciting time to be working in Birmingham and we're proud to represent the city at national awards programmes such as the RAR Awards. I truly believe the video is the superpower of our time and it's great to work with organisations with extraordinary stories to tell, especially in Brum.

"The RAR Awards are governed solely by client ratings which means our win in the Production Company category carries even more weight. Last year we achieved a score of 94% so we're delighted to beat that with an overall client rating of 96%.

"Moving to new offices at Assay Studios in Birmingham and growing our team this year was a big decision. Be Inspired Films was founded to help create a better world through telling better stories and the world has never needed this more than now!"

Other clients include TEDx, Oxford University and Deutsche Bank, with the year already looking very busy ahead.
